Who we are and what we do:

  • BioAbroad is a non-profit Israeli organization operating abroad.
  • Our activities include professional events, social events and job fairs in different locations.
  • Our operations are managed by regional managers in key locations.
  • We lobby for the recruitment of our members in Israel by communicating with the TAMAT, Misrad Haklita, ILSI, universities, HR companies, incubators and leading life science companies.
  • Since 2007 more than 450 Israeli scientists and managers from academia and industry who are living abroad joined us.

  • Can your idea be commercialized?  - BioAbroad will assist you in finding Israelis abroad that may be interested in working with you on commercializing your idea.  We can also direct you to experianced people who you will be able to consult with.  You can find more details on entrepreneurship and the Israeli incubators program in our Benefits and Resources section .   • Ministry of Absorption "Coming Home" Program
    In its web site the Ministry of Absorption details all the benefits that it offers for returning Israelis that stayed abroad for more than 2 years. The main benefits include health insurance fine exemption, assistance in finding a job or financing work training for carreer change, customs benefits and more. The ministry is operating a hot line for assistance - 972-3-973-3333. You can find an article that summarizes the benefits here.
    If you intend to return to Israel in the coming year we highly reccomend to contact the hot line six months in advance so you may maximize your benefits.

Activity Centers

Bioabroad is looking for Regional coordinator for organizing social and professional events in Cambridge, UK. The position requires approximately 10 monthly hours with a potential for future financial compensation. For more details please contact Rami Lotem rami@bioabroad.org.il
