For your conviniance we started to seperate our
newsletter to different sectors as per the table of
content. Here are some general announcements
followed by the sectorial updates:
- We continue are special travel
grant by BioAbroad and Misrad Haklita
for job interviews travel to Israel
were distributed. We would like to remind
that the maximum grant is 50% of the flight
ticket cost up to $700. Grants will be given
every month by BioAbroad-Misrad Haklita's steering
committee, retroactively, to the applicants with the
largest number of interviews. The full
guidelines for candidates and the
application form can be downloaded here {pdf} or at our
website. Filled and signed applications
with a copy of the flight tickets receipts should be
sent to info@bioabroad.org.il
. Correspondence related to the meeting may be
requested in a later stage.

organization is a non-profit one and depends on
donations. Even small doantions can help us
sustain our activity of giving grants organizing
events and operating and updating the

assisting independent scientists who will return and
open a consulting business! more...
- When returning to Israel, you ar eligable for a
special discount from El Al. Choosing your
exact return flight with El Al is done now
directly with ElAl by using the following document.
- The levels of the financial support to the
employer of a returning scientist were recently
doubled to about 60,000 NIS per year for two years, a
list of the support levels are here. Scientists
from abroad can now receive eligibility
letter from Misrad Haklita for potential
employers prior to their return (after
registering as a returning scientist). We
hope this will increase the chances that an employer
will employo scientists from
abroad.
