A great achievement for us!
BioAbroad and Misrad Haklita will start distributing
grants for job interviews travel to Israel.
Maximum grant is 50% of the flight ticket cost up
to $700. Grants will be given every month by
BioAbroad-Misrad Haklita's steering committee,
retroactively for travels made from April
2009, to the applicants with the largest
number of interviews. The full guidelines for
candidates and the application form can be
downloaded here
{pdf} or at our website. Filled and
signed applications with a copy of the flight
tickets receipts should be sent to info@bioabroad.org.il .
Correspondance related to the meeting may be requested
in a later stage.

- The levels of the financial support to the
employer of a returning scientist were recently
doubled to about 60,000 NIS per year for two years, a list of the
support levels are here. Scientists from abroad
can now receive eligibility letter from Misrad
Haklita for potential employers prior to
their return (after registering as a returning
scientist). We hope this will increase the
chances that an employer will employo scientists
from abroad.
